Iron Forge Belief Statement
Iron Forge Belief Statement
We believe that children learn by repeated multi-sensory experiences that are attainable, challenging, and authentic.
We believe that the teacher is a facilitator for learning, who motivates, encourages, and is a role model. The teacher provides opportunities that guide children to pose questions, to seek answers, and to enjoy the process of learning.
We believe that our school is a respectful, caring environment with clear academic and behavioral expectations where our children are challenged but not afraid to fail.
We believe that great teaching doesn’t simply meet curriculum requirements, but is the development of a relationship between students, teachers, and families resulting in a life-long love for learning.
We believe that the learning process is a collaborative effort between students, teachers, and families, each with a responsibility for its success.
